Maria Torres, LCSW

Maria G. Torres is a licensed clinical social worker. She earned a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in social work and Spanish at Boise State University. She has served in social work roles for the state’s Child Protective Services with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Worked with St. Luke’s Health Services as an emergency room and hospital social worker. Before joining Saltzer Health in 2018, Torres was a Behavioral Health Consultant at Terry Reilly, a federally qualified health center. At Saltzer Health, Maria developed an Integrated Behavioral Health program. She is currently an independent contractor for C-WHO. Maria has presented at conferences on cultural competency and working with the Latinx population. She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers for 16 years and is serving as the vice president for NASW (National Association of Social Workers) Idaho chapter.

Camille Evans, LCSW, has worked in many different Social Work roles within healthcare and mental health since 2007. Camille’s vision of mental health care includes recognition that our emotional and mental well-being is equally important to our overall health as physical health is. Camille believes mental health care should be accessible and connected to the other aspects of your health care and her work has primarily focused on integrated primary care, end-of-life care, grief work, crisis intervention, depression, anxiety and LGTQIA+ care.

Donna has thirty-three years as Finance/Business Operations Manager for Rural Private Non-Profits, specializing in Outpatient Mental Health, Outpatient and Inpatient Alcohol and Drug and Outpatient Developmental Disabilities Services in the State of Oregon. Donna is now the financial manager for a couple of small business startups, for-profit & non-profit, to assist in innovative and creative projects for marginalized populations and rural areas. Donna brings incredible experience for staff support and financial compliance to Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization, Inc.’s financial grant and other business management.

Amy Walters, PhD – Clinical IBH Consultant

Amy Walters, PhD

Amy Walters, PhD is a clinical health psychologist and a consultant with Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization. For more than a decade she has served as the director of behavioral health services for an integrated behavioral health diabetes program. Dr. Walters provides professional presentations and training in behavioral health integration, Motivational Interviewing, behavioral supports of diabetes and psychological factors impacting chronic disease.  She has completed consultation and trainings for a number of state and national organizations including the American Psychological Association, Dialysis Patient Citizens, Idaho State University community paramedics program, Idaho Primary Care Association, Idaho Dietetics Association, Idaho Diabetes Alliance, Idaho WIC program,  Idaho Perinatal Project and many others.

Dr. Walters received her Ph.D. from Utah State University and has over 20 years of experience working in clinical and community settings with adult and pediatric populations. She received post-doctoral training in Motivational Interviewing (with founder Bill Miller, PhD) and in PCBH integration model (with founders Patti Robinson, PhD and Kirk Strosahl, PhD).  She is a long-standing board member of the Idaho Psychological Association, the APA Public Education Campaign Coordinator for Idaho and was a founding member of the Idaho Integrated Behavioral Health Network.  Dr. Walters volunteers as the staff psychologist for Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs (Camp Hodia) and has a daughter with type 1 diabetes.  She is a native Idahoan and is passionate about creating behavioral health support for patients with chronic disease, especially in the state’s rural areas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and backpacking.

Anne Daggett, LCSW

Anne is currently serving as a Project Coordinator for Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization. She obtained her undergraduate degree in social work from Creighton University, and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She had been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 24 years. Anne has worked in health care for the past 10 years in a variety of settings, which include specialty/primary care clinics and a managed healthcare network organization. Her work in healthcare has focused on the intersection of chronic disease management and behavior health. She has had the opportunity to assist clinics in the development and implementation of integrated behavioral health services. She has particular interest in advancing workforce development opportunities for behavioral health professionals interested in integrated practice.

Jane Harris, MS – Project Manager

Jane Harris, MS

Jane Harris is a Contract Project Manager for Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization. In this role, she works with health systems and communities to support quality, innovative projects to enhance health and well-being, and increase access to care, particularly in rural and frontier regions.

Prior to joining C-WHO, Ms. Harris has spent the majority of her career in operations, clinical delivery, prevention and health promotion, and account management in behavioral health settings. She has had leadership roles in private and non-for-profit settings, including Anthem, The American Cancer Society, and numerous community health and integrated health organizations. Ms. Harris has a long history of working with both Corporate and government funders in support of key health initiatives and enhanced
population health.

She completed her undergraduate work at Appalachian State University and her Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Stephanie Gallegos, LMSW

Stephanie Gallegos serves as a Project Coordinator and Clinical Consultant for Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from Boise State University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University. Stephanie has a passion for integrated behavioral health and enjoys helping patients & communities improve quality of life & health outcomes by utilizing brief interventions focused on behavioral change. When Stephanie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves the outdoors.
