Stephanie Gallegos was born in Edmonds, Washington but has lived in Meridian for majority of her life & considers Idaho her home. During her undergraduate, Stephanie interned at the Nampa Family Justice Center as a client advocate working with individuals involved with domestic violence. She graduated at Boise State University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. She then worked as a Family Preservation Specialist with Family Connections, Inc. During this time, Stephanie decided to obtain her Master’s Degree in Social Work and graduated in December 2019.
During her time in graduate school, Stephanie interned with the McKinney-Vento Program through the Nampa School District providing case management with homeless children and families. Her final internship was working within the Primary Care Behavioral Health model as a Behavioral Health Consultant. Stephanie learned about the Quadruple Aim, team-based care and obtained clinical skills needed to provide brief interventions in primary care. During this time, she discovered she had a passion for macro work and assisted a rural, primary care clinic with developing and implementing the PBCH model. To fulfill her passions for having direct patient contact and working on a macro level, Stephanie contracts as a Project Coordinator for Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization and is a Behavioral Health Consultant at a reverse integrated clinic in Boise, Idaho.
