Laurel Mellin, PhD

Laurel Mellin, Ph.D. is the founder of emotional brain training (EBT), a neuroscientific psychotherapy that rewires the stress response for optimal resilience. She is a health psychologist and on the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine for 42 years, most recently as an associate clinical professor of family and community medicine and pediatrics. She has a B.A. from UC Berkeley, an M.A. in nutrition from S.F. State University, and a Ph.D. in health psychology and behavioral medicine from Northcentral University. Dr. Mellin is a New York Times bestselling author, researcher, and developer of certification training programs for in EBT science and clinical methods for health professionals.
