Emily Allen, MSW, has served as Empower Idaho’s Project Manager for nearly two years. Emily has received training in advocacy and community organization through her graduate education in social work, extensive volunteer experience, and professional roles at Jannus, Inc. Emily is committed to elevating the voices of regular Idahoans when working with state and community leaders to address system change in behavioral health care.

- Identify consumer advocacy groups designed to support behavioral health in Idaho.
- Understand and be empowered to engage in the advocacy process – through patient story, advocacy networks, i.e., grass tops and grass roots.
- Formulate a policy priority that would support seamless integration and improved outcomes for patients. Develop an advocacy message using story.
