
Andrew Pomerantz has been a healthcare provider for more almost 50 years, as both a rural primary care provider and psychiatrist. HIs work in integrating mental health and primary care has received recognition across the country from multiple organizations including the American Psychiatric Association, the Veterans Health Administration the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine. He pioneered virtual integrated care in Vermont in the early 2000s and recently retired after 10 years as the VA’s national director of Integrated Services. His integrated care program in VA was recognized by the congressionally mandated Commission on Care as “…unsurpassed in US healthcare.”
